Education Bursary

The Randal Charitable Foundation is proud to provide grants towards the provision of education.

In exceptional circumstances the Randal Charitable Foundation provides grant funding towards education bursaries to help the most vulnerable and disadvantaged students receive the education they deserve.

One educational institution to receive funding towards its Bursary Fund is Loughborough College. The Bursary Fund supports disadvantaged students with barriers to learning and is designed to support those who may have previously been ineligible for support through existing college bursaries.

College students and beneficiaries of the Careers and Enterprise Hub are able to apply for up to £1,200 depending on need, allocated in a holistic and bespoke manner in line with the needs of the applicant.

For more than 100 years the college has provided high quality education and training. Placing students at the heart of everything it does whilst promoting the highest ambitions, both inside and outside the classroom, has been core to the college’s culture and values.

The college has a proud track record of supporting talented sportspeople to unlock their potential and has produced world and Olympic champions as well as England captains.

It offers students a range of academic and technical study programmes designed to prepare and inspire them for careers and higher levels of education.

Loughborough College works in partnership with Loughborough University, the University of Derby, the University of Warwick and Nottingham Trent University. Together, they offer degree level education and promote progression up to doctoral level studies.

The college also serves the community through its adult education courses, working with students with learning difficulties and disabilities and by supporting the business community to prosper. This includes a new Careers & Enterprise Hub, in partnership with Loughborough University, in the heart of Loughborough town centre which aims to support local people into education and training to boost their career prospects and start their own businesses.
